Inside, you'll find a small button cell. Remove it, and leave the machine switched off for a few hours. When you replace the battery and switch the machine back on, the password will be reset.

Testimonial: "Hi, I have tried removing the battery by leaving out over night, the date and time reset but the password is still the same"
Look-up the WEB for a reset.

You may be lucky because the battery acid may not have gone beyond the contacts in the battery chamber: open battery chamber and clean out especially at the bottom of the chamber and blow out any loose stuff when you finished cleaning ( use pencil erazor or something similar , but do not use sand paper or anything that will damage chrome plating of the contacts ; you do not want corrosion at later stage ).
