Could be loose wiring, or bad clock motor.
Check if wires are connected, and make sure only the copper part of wire and no insulation is under the screw plate.
Make sure all wires are same gauge so that screw plate clamps down on wires.
Open following link to identify timer and then add a comment with model number and voltage for possible help. Tork T1100 series has replacement clock motor.

If this is analog timer, with dial, then there is no reset button. Check light bulb, try timer on different outlet, buy another timer.

Pope digital set automatic tap timer screen shows "err"

These timers seem to be very robust and one has been operating for several years without any problems. After a period of rain I turned the tap off to prevent the timer turning the water on. The "err " message was there when I next went to turn the tap on. Judging by the intstructions there is an internal battery of some kind which flashes a "OP" message. I took out the main batteries and the "OP" signal started to flash, I then removed the four screws from the back of the timer but could see no obvious way of resetting it. I took a guess which luckily turned out to be correct and briefly bridged two contacts on top of the timer (see picture). The screen went blank and when I re-installed the batteries it had re-set itself to. All buttons are also working.
I imagine that there have been many of these thrown out with the garbage un-necessarily when the solution is quite a simple one. Pope would be doing a service to the planet by fitting these timers with a reset.

How do I program a GE Relocatable Power Tap EMP700UL-MT

TIMER INSTRUCTIONS:

When the timer is plugged in, the timer's dial will turn clockwise. The pointer, on the face of the dial, points to the current time of day.

1. Locate the segments on the outer edges of the timer's dial. These segments, each representing 30 minutes, can be pushed down (try using the tip of a pen or pencil). Conversely, segments pushed down can be easily pushed back by hand. Be sure all segments are pushed up before programming. Select a time period (or periods) you want the device turned on, push down the segments that fall on or within that time period. For example, to have the timer turn a device on 10PM and off at 2AM, push down the segments representing 10PM and 2AM, and ALL the segments in between. See Figure 1.You may need to turn the dial clockwise to access the desired segments.

2. Rotate the timer's dial clockwise until the pointer on the face of the dial points to the current time of the day. Note: Nighttime hours (from 6:30PM to 6:30AM) are highlighted.

3. Plug the timer into an electrical outlet convenient to the device to be controlled.

4. Plug the device into an outlet on the timer. Turn the device's switch to the on position for automatic control. The timer will not turn the device on if the device's switch is in the off position. The device will now turn on and off at the times you have set. In case of power failure, reset the time of the day as explained in step 2.

Sorry no Image.

7 Day Wall Switch Timer ( older model with acrilc cover) when its on the lights start blinking and they dont stop util you take out the battery......thanks

Question: Is this old timer that started malfunctioning?

If this is older timer, that worked correctly before, then the timer has gone bad.
You can reset timer, and then re-programming.
But without knowing which timer, it's hard to say if timer has reset button or if you hold down two buttons to perform the reset.
Add a comment with better description of timer: plug-in, outdoor, in-wall, programmable, or dial-type.
Describe buttons and location exactly.
Is there a switch on the side? Or a slide button on top.
Is outlet 3-prong? How many outlets? Are outlets on front of timer or sides?
Nobody carries repair parts for old timers.

I can probably find new model with same features

If this is new installation, and timer replaces wall switch, it sounds like the wiring is wrong or timer is busted.
Again I need a very specific description of the timer, and the timer wires, and the wires inside box, and the switch it replaced.

There are 100's of timers out there, in all shapes and sizes, with different features ... and I know most of them.
But need more info.

New dial up connection with the “Save Password” option enabled

After setting up the MobilePro 900 for the first time (or after a hard reset), a soft reset is required to correctly save the dial-up networking passwords for remote networking. If your MobilePro 900 is already configured with a RAS connection that will not authenticate, you can do the following to fix the issue: * 1. Use the stylus to depress the reset button located on the bottom of your MobilePro 900 and allow it to reboot. * 2. Tap Start a Programs a Communications a Remote Networking. * 3. Open the dial-up connection by double-tapping the icon, just as if you were going to connect. Ensure the user name is correct and re-type your password making sure there the “Save password” option is checked. * 4. Tap the “Connect” button to save your password. If you do not tap the connect button, the password will not be saved correctly.
