Put the card in an adapter or in your computer. Make sure the pictures are not in folders. The printer is unable to read them if they are.
Also, the file size of the picture cannot be over 8 MB and the image size has to be below 12 megapixels.

The manual for the camera states that the memory card must be formatted in the camera and that cards formatted in a computer may not work properly. Use the format command in the camera.

The SD card that you tried is likely not the proper size for your iMac, try using tweezers to remove it and perhaps investing in an adapter to the correct size from the one that you tried.
