Question about Lexmark X5470 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP Photosmart 385 Printer 07A74DD6 Error

Funny how none of the technicians at HP could help me solve this silly error. I still can't believe it was as simple changing the power cord. I have so many that look the same, but I guess HP products are just picking.

I have the same problem as ambermiller including no help at all from HP. Is it a question of changing the power lead?

I have the same problem got all my power cords mixed together and not sure which one is the right one??? how many watts or volts or whatever is it suppose to be??

I too had the same error message on my printer. I knew it couldn't be anything major because I haven't had it that long. but now I see I just need to buy a new cord for the printer. Thanks. P.S. HP wouldn't help me either, they told me I would have to pay for my 'help'.

Printer will not print from camera memory card

In some forums and sites experts said that this problem maybe connected with the power supply cord or problem with USB cable/port.
Try to connect the printer on some other USB port, try with other usb cable, try with other power cord, reinstall the driver. If no one of these tips works maybe you should go to HP Support Centre (maybe they telling you to buy a brand new printer, because the repair is more expensive than your printer).

I recieve Ink System failure error message with error code 0xc18a0206 on my HP PHOTOSMART C7180 ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER.

The error that you are having is a hardware issue, it means your printer has an Ink System Failure. Believe me, there's no use going through troubleshooting for this one. Call HP and just Upgrade your printer. HP Printer Tech Support would be more than happy in giving you discounts and an extra year of warranty for $1.00.

Looks like you have the wrong or a faulty power supply hooked up to it. Get the right one and you should be good 2 go.

u knw i cn tell u the steps but if u do even 1 of the steps wrong ,ur printer wont work anymre so contact them

My printer is a hp photosmart 7760. The on button is flashing red. The error mesage says "the printer is not installed". What can I do?

Talked to HP tech support today- the "Tech" said these errors are "internal hardware issues". Since HP has "no service locations for printers"- The only solution is.... TO BUY A NEW PRINTER! (of course $$$) Why did we not think of that!

As the previous message stated, I had the same problem and it was resolved by making sure that I used the original power cable. I couldn't find it at first and tried with three others all with the same error. Finally it was resolved by using the original.
