Question about Kenmore Refrigerators

Water leaking from bottom of fridge (freezer) onto floor

Every few hours or so, we find a small puddle of water leaking from bottom of the freezer section (left side) of the fridge onto the floor. I first noticed that ice had accumulated on the bottom shelf of the freezer, and also towards the back where there is a small hole (not sure what the hole does, but it's obviously important). I broke apart the ice on the bottom shelf and the surrounding area, and it seemed to have solved the problem....But it was only temporary. It's now leaking a little more frequently and in greater amounts. I'm thinking it's a filter problem, but not sure how to get to it.
Thank you.

LG FRIDGE model FR-S392GC periodically leaks water onto the floor

If you leave the fridge door open the fridge will condense water from the air and after a few hours a puddle will form. Make sure the door stays shut. Also it may have a defrost cycle which can cause this.

Water leaking onto the kicthen floor from my frost free fridge freezer

The drain inside the cabinet may be clogged. Sometimes the flimsy plastic evaporation pan inside the bottom under the cabinet cracks or overflows.

GE Profile leaking onto floor

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section behind the cover underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

The freezer part of the fridge fills with ice and leaks so there is a small puddle of water on the floor periodically.

It sounds like you have a clogged drain. When the freezer defrosts the water goes out a drain in the bottom of the fridge. Something probably fell into the drain and now the water has no where to go but onto the floor. The freezer defrosts regularly so unless you clean out the drain it will only get worse. Hope this helps

Samsung Fridge Freezer leaking water

hi August.
Cause: A blocked defrost drain is one of the most common causes of water leakage. This happens when food particles or other debris clogs up the drain hose, which can lead to ice buildup and, eventually, water leaking out of the freezer and refrigerator.
3 common refrigerator problems you can easily fix yourself

The freezer drain hose will drain the defrost water into a drip pan at the bottom of the freezer. When this pan becomes full, it will leak water onto the floor. This is a regular maintenance task whenever the freezer defrosts. Empty the drip pan during the defrost cycle.
How to Fix Water Leaking From the Bottom of Freezer

Why is my fridge leaking water on the floor? If the refrigerator is leaking water it's possible that the refrigerator has a clogged or freezing defrost drain. If the defrost drain freezes the defrost water will overflow the drain and drip down to the bottom of the compartment, If enough water accumulates in the bottom it can run out onto the floor.

The freezer defrosts every day. the puddle is from that. It is supposed to go into a pan at the bottom and evaporate. You need to look at the pan and determine if it has a hole or the drain hose is leaking somewhere.
