Question about JVC KD-NX5000 Car Video Player
Showing calibration in process going to check the speed sensor but I don't have any other ideas ... been working on this for three weeks and can't even get JVC to figure it out?!?!
I AM STUMPED
When on the gps screen, hold donw the ent button for 2 seconds. you will now be on the stat. screen. if the speed sensor says 0 when you drive, it will not cal. The speed sensor has to be hooked up or it will not work. I don't know how it knows it is not hooked up. but it can tell.

Wouldn't be speed sense, that only helps with lag when you loose line of site with the satellites. As soon as it links with the satellites, it should know your position. More likely a software issue with the unit, or an antenna problem.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
