Question about Cisco Catalyst 2908 (WS-C2908-XL) Networking Switch
When my linksys is connected to my Pix501 I am able to get to the internet over my wireless. When I move the linksys to my catalyst 2900 on a seperate VLAN I am not able to connect to the internet. My catalyst is connected to the Pix501 and I can access the internet via non wireless. I have tried diff. cables including a roll-over. I have tried different ports and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appericated as I am trying to split my wife's wireless and my connection into that catalyst so I can have less waiting time for data connection. (When I have the wireless connected directly to the Pix and I am connected to the switch which also connects to the Pix my CPU skyrockets to 97 - 100% making things very slow for both of us). Pix connects to AT&T Elite package ISP if that helps.
Check the vlan settings of the port on the switch to where the AP is connected, and check the vlan of the AP
