SOURCE: Pressed a button, now fridge won't work

you have pressed the defrost button that is why the compressor stops and would not come back on. there could be a temperature sensor on the thermostat or a timer where in it would only reset back after the temperature of the fridge warms up. try to remove all the food and let is sit for a while, plugged and watch if the compressor would kick in after about two hours or untill the fridge warms up. if the button is stuck, you may have to spray lubricant in the thermostat or replace the thermostat .

SOURCE: temperature control knob turns but doesn't change temp.

the heater control valve is visible through the speaker cut-out; it's at the end of the plastic heater control rod, inside the car - not on the other side of the firewall! It's connected to the valve with a plastic "universal joint".

Check that the valve is actually being turned by the rod. The connection might not be good (pulled apart or broken), and or the valve might be stuck.

SOURCE: My low beam headlights do

Check out your fuse associate with the low beam headlight, secondly there is a relay fuse under fuse rely box under the hoos. Locate this box, and locate the relay fuse associated to the low beam. You can rotate the relay with another relay of the same spec to see if the low beam lights are coming on. I would believe that it is a fuse that is blown, check your owners manaual on the location of the fuse box. Usually it's located in the driver side kick panel.

Run then stop after five minute

Check the reset/off circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker has tripped, wait for five minutes and then press the switch to the reset button.

You want the switch to be on reset, make sure that the power cord is plugged in. If the power cord is plugged in, unplug it, wait for five minutes, and then plug it back in.

Remove the key from the console, reinsert the key into the console.

These are just a few basic steps and if it does not solve the problem please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Technical Support Team by chat at www.sportsmith.net or by phone at 888-713-2880 we would be happy to help you further solve the issue. What would cause my Maytag MSD2432GRW fridge to trip the breaker? I have narrowed it down to either the defrost thermostat, the defrost heater, or the adaptive defrost. How would I check each of these

Hello,
It is more than likely your power supply that steps down you your 120V to 24V. This is usually located right rear bottom inside of your fridge but locations vary.

IF when the spa control calls for heat and it trips the breaker when the heater comes on then you have a bad heating element and it will need to be changed.
Disconnect the power to the spa. Disconnect the two wires going to the heater and then turn the spa back on.
If the spa stays running without the heater attached then that will be your source of trouble. New heater and you will be all fixed up.

We have a 2510 Dometic Refrigerator that won't chill in either gas or 110. Could it be the thermastat?

Hello,

yes, its possible, but don't over look other areas that could be the cause of the problem.

You can follow the troubleshooting steps below as you might get to the root of the problem:
  1. Check that the temperature control knob isn't in the "off" position.
  2. Move the temperature control knob to a colder temperature setting.
  3. Check that the fridge isn't unplugged or that the fuse or circuit breaker isn't blown. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse as needed.
  4. Make sure the red defrost button hasn't been inadvertently pushed. If the button is pressed the fridge will run through its defrost cycle. You can't turn the cycle off until it has completed. Part of the defrosting function includes warmer temperatures
  5. Determine if the ambient temperature has become hotter. For example, is the weather warmer than when you initially set the fridge temperature, or is the air conditioning set higher? If so, set the temperature control one step colder.
  6. Determine whether you are opening the fridge door more often than usual, or if a food package is keeping the door open. Remove any obstructions.
  7. Make sure the door seal isn't dirty and preventing the tight contact required. Wipe the seal on both the door and the body using a soft cloth and warm water.
  8. Make sure the fridge hasn't been built-in or placed in a too tightly confined space. If it is, the hot wall condenser won't work properly. Test this by pulling the fridge out into the room to see if the temperature stabilizes.
Good luck.

I had my Danby premier mini fridge stored in sthe garage for a while and just plugged it in. Nothing....., no sound, nothing...anything special I should look for?? Appreciate your help.

turn the temperature nob all the way to full then all the way to minimum. (the red button you press to defrost the fridge probably needs to be reset...)

Dryer not heating

Answer Did you select an Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature option?
The Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature does not add heat to the dryer. Expect loads dried with the Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature to take longer to dry. Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature can be found on the control knob or button with the other temperature selections.
Has a household fuse blown or has a circuit breaker tripped?
The drum may be turning, but you may not have heat. Electric dryers use 2 household fuses or circuit breakers. Replace the fuses or reset the circuit breakers. If the problem continues, call an electrician.
Did you recently install a power supply cord on the dryer?
The power supply cord may be incorrectly installed. Review the Installation Instructions to make sure that the power supply cord is properly installed.

Temperature control

I have a danby mini fridge and freezer and noticed the same problem. The temperature dial has NO NUMBERS ON IT! it just has a strip that goes from light to dark blue. That's it. I looked in the manual and it doesn't say anywhere which way is colder...it makes sense that the darker the blue the colder the temperature but why keep us guessing?
