This is a common problem, most often fixed by calling your voicemail from another phone and checking the messages. Call your mobile, press * when the voicemail answers, and then enter your pin code. If you don't have any voicemails, leave one first, then call back from the outside line and clear them out.

ESP = Electronic Stability Program malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)
1. You can try to disconnect the battery from car terminals, waiting for 30 minutes and connect again the cables in order to reset the ESP Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
2. If this procedure does not work you must use a diagnostic equipment connected to the Data Link Connector (DLC) of the car. The ESP ECU fault memory can only be accessed and erased using diagnostic equipment connected to the DLC.
Note: ESP function includes ABS (Antilock Braking System) function!

SOURCE: Warning light on: Yellow circle

It's the ASR - Acceleration Skid Control system warning light!
For today's typical high-torque engines, traction control (ASR) can increase both comfort and safety, particularly when driving on slippery roads or surfaces offering differing levels of grip. Traction control permits smooth starting and acceleration through the full speed range without wheel-spin or fishtailing.

ASR only operates in conjunction with the electronic accelerator (E-gas) and uses components of the anti-lock braking system (ABS). If one wheel suddenly begins to rotate faster than the others (slip), ASR intervenes in the engine management system and reduces power until the wheel stops spinning.
The ASR system represents a further contribution to active safety as it maintains vehicle traction and directional stability throughout the acceleration phase at any speed. In addition, it reduces tyre wear. Activation of the ASR system is indicated by a flashing indicator lamp in the instrument cluster.
The ESP system means the Electronic Stability Program. If the ESP lights on the dashboard permanently the ESP system is faulty. You must access the ESP Electronic Control Unit (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ESP ECU, in other words reset the ESP system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

How to fix my frozen Droid Razr Maxx HD

Your phone is modified in some way. You have to restore the software. Go to Motorola Owners Forum and mention it there. They may be able to point you to what is wrong and maybe where the software is for JellyBean.

Yellow triangle on black screen

If "Andy" is laying down inside that yellow triangle, it usually means that a file was unable to load or download properly. If someone was flashing a rom for an example and the rom was created for another device "similar" to yours, usually the partition that stores the rom has insufficient space.

Another reason could stem from an invalid download or the wrong "recovery" to flash a rom or kernel. A rule of thumb when you're dealing with Android device: If you're flashing roms, make certain you are using the correct rom for your correct device. They may look similar by design; but its what's under the hood that counts.

Some people buy used devices from Ebay and Amazon with the "yellow triangle" in hopes to revive a decent device. If you don't know the history of any Android device do not purchase it.

If you have a Samsung device, you can ODIN it back to Gingerbread and start all over again. If it's a Motorola device try SBFing it back down to the previous OS.

If you're flashing a rom or kernel, try re-flashing the rom, wipe/delete data, wipe cache, flash Gapps & reboot.

My droid screen suddenly turned black but i could still use it, i tried resetting it by pulling the battery out but the same thing occurs. Whenever i would turn the droid back on, the Motorola symbol is no...

You might want to try a hard reset on the phone, it should put your phone back to normal if its a software issue, if its a hardware issue you might have to take the phone apart or send it in for repairs or warranty return.

You can hard reset your Motorola Droid if you want clear all of the data off of the device and start fresh. Here’s how it’s done.

1. Turn the Droid off. If it won’t turn off, take the battery out then place it back in.
2. Open the keyboard and press the X key while pressing and holding Power. The device will power on. Keep holding the buttons down until a yellow triangle appers.
3. Press the Camera and Volume Up buttons at the same time to get to the menu. (I had to press them several times).
4. Use the direction pad to the right of the keyboard to select the Format option.
