Try adjusting the resolution on you computer. I believe this is a native xga projector (1024 x 768)

I have hooked up my computer to the projector. I get the blue screen and nothing else. How can I get the image to project? Thank You!

make sure you're on the correct source on the projector. now i'm not sure if you're using a laptop, if you are, then you're gonna have to press FN and F5 (depending what type of laptop you have, sometimes it's F8) buttons on your laptop. this activates the computer port of your laptop.

Lots of tiny dots all over the projection screen, all sources?

if they are shadowed and you can focus on them, it's dust. blow it out with canned air. if they are pixeled, you have bad lcd panels.

When we connect a Latitude D610 to any NEC projector it won't project to the screen. What should we check?

Did you switch the display from the laptop to external? Can't remember exactly but there is a key about in the middle top of the keyboard that looks like a screen. You have to hold function/code then hit that key to turn on the external display.
