SOURCE: Panasonic LCD TC-26LX60 Dead. No

The entire power board is effectively dead. Start by removing the board from the tv and checking it separately - it might be shorted by an external consumer or in might not be triggered by the processor of the tv - start it yourself to check that. Then check the main switching transistor - it might be fried. Then check the main transformer - it might be shorted. Finally check the regulator circuits, if might have failed. If this is the case then you will have to replace the entire power board - individual parts are not offered as spares.

SOURCE: What makes the HISENSE LCD (Model LCD 42W58P1) power supply failed to produce output voltage goes to the main pc board?

Hi,
First of all the power supply makes 'Stand By 5 or 3.5V which goes to main board. When we give power on command to the TV the main board sends 'stand by or Power ON' command to the power board which then makes other necessary voltage for the main board as well as other sections. If the power board does not receive 'Power On' command from main board, it will not produce the necessary voltages to operate the TV set.

There could be many reasons. If there is no VGA signal, it will stay in standby if it is energy efficient.

Did you try unplugging it for one minute and then plug it back in and try to turn it on again. Sometimes this will reset the electronics and get things working again.

REd background instead of black

It is low voltage in the screen driver board, probably a bad capacitor in the screen driver board or perhaps in the main power supply. The only way to tell would be to look at a schematic and measure the voltage and check the voltage source on the power supply board. If the voltage was low, replacing the board should fix your problem. If the voltage was normal at the power supply, then the screen driver board would need to be replaced. Good Luck

Panasonic 32-inch LCD TV Blinking 3 Times. Not Turning On. Please Help.

Three Blinks: Three blinks of the power LED indicates an over-current or over-voltage condition in one of the DC supplies of the AP board. The AP board is repairable. Therefore the use of an ohmmeter and peak-hold-voltmeter is required to determine the cause of the shutdown. An over-voltage condition is definitely a defect of the AP board. An over-current condition may be due to a short circuit located in the APh

Sound with no picture..backlight working

This failure could be due to a backlight inverter board or the power supply is not providing the 24 volts to it.
The way to fix it is by measuring the voltages from the power supply to the backlight inverter board, if the voltage is present then the backlight inverter board is defective and will need to be replace. If the voltage is lower then 20 volts, then is a power supply failure.
Click here to find the backlight inverter board.
Let me know if you need further assistance. I repair power supplies for all LCD models.

I was given a Panasonic Lumix Lc20 camera. The little green light comes on and beeps but has no display. What would cause this?

Most likely, a bad system board. There are a few different power supplies on camera boards. If the 8 volt power supply fails, no more backlight. If it really is a backlight problem, you can hold the camera in bright sunlight and see the LCD still showing an image. Not going to be something you can fix, unless you are a tech with parts.
