About 2 3/4 hrs at 350 degrees. Internal temp of roast should be around 135 degrees for medium. Let it rest at least 20 minutes before carving!

How long do I bake an 8lb shoulder pork roast?

hi Dianna.
Roast in a preheated 500 degree (F) oven for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and roast for an additional 30 minutes per pound. Total cooking time for an 8lb roast should be about 4hrs and 20 minutes. Remove the pork roast from the oven and let rest for 30 minutes

Freezer temp cycles above freezing

If you have a frost free refrigerator then temp jumps as you discribe are somewhat normal during a defrost cycle. However it sound like your defrost temp may be getting too high. There is a limit thermostat on the freezer coils that keep the defrost temp from getting too high. The part is called a (defrost termination thermostat) and is a round disk about 1 to 1.5 inch in diameter clipped to the top of the freezer coils with 2 wires coming out of it. When cold, it allows power to the defrost heaters. At around 35/40 degrees it opens and shuts off power to the heater. 35/40 degrees sounds high for a freezer temp but that is behind the wall and only for a short time. Yours may be staying on too long or out of temp calibration needing replaced.

Fan keep runnig all the time

You have a faulty temp sensor in your radiator, if you can see the rad look around the outside of the rad and look for a round sensor with two wires coming from it, it looks like a brass hexegon nut, Got to land rover and ask for a radiator temp switch for the fan. they are easy to change if you have a wrench to fit it, you will lose a little fluid so be sure to top up your coolant after fitting. Hope this helps simfea@telus.net

Thermostat ct87b

Your thermostat could be shutting off too soon. What you have to do is take the cover off of the thermostat and look at the bottom right side of the unit. There will be a Zinc plate with little dashs and numbers on it. on top of the plate is a copper triangle, that is what turns the heat off at a certain temp. The triangle is probably out of place and is cycling the heat off before it reaches your set temp. Just carefully adjust the triangle tward the lower left side of the triangle (alittle but at a time) and hopefully that will fix your problem.
