Hobart A200 Stand Mixer
Beatriz, I looked through the entire manual, it shows no reverse option. Did you just get the mixer or did you have it repaired. It seams the mixer is either wired wrong or the gears that rotate the mixer were not assembled correctly.
Check the attached link, manual, instruction and guides, Good luck

Accessing gearbox in Hobart N50 (older model)

Take the back cover off the motor and then there will be four nuts that hold on the back bearing cage of the motor. After removing that, you will find 7 large screws in beside the motor that remove the gearbox.

Trying to find what the shaft assembly looks like on a Hobart H600 Mixer

b1sam - You might try using the very easy "Hobart" smartparts webapp on the Hobart website. Cut and paste this into your browser Address line: http://catserv1.itwfeg.com/Hobart-Root/assynode.cfm From there you can select from 19 assemblies to review. Each assembly includes a parts list and an exploded view of the assembly. Based on your comment 'shaft assembly', I believe you want to look at either #12, Transmission Unit or #13, Planetary Unit.
Good Luck... I hope this is helpful.

Need to know what type motor is in a hobart D 300 mixer

Look on the I.D. plate. Voltage should be listed. "PH" is for phase. It will either be single (1), or three (3) phase. "AMP" is for ampacity or the amount of power it consumes. Hobart's manual does not list the motor as an entire replacement unit. It only lists parts as if you were to rebuild the motor. Sorry.

Hope this helps some.

Motor runs but beaters won't turn and gears will not engage or change speed

Most likely there is a broken shaft, seized bearing, or a stripped gear.

The service tech will unassemble everything and replace the necessary warn or broken parts. He will re-assemble everything, check for proper gear lash and bushing clearances, and re-pack new grease.
