I'm assuming your account is provided by your internet service provider. If this is the case, call them and they will guide you through this problem and solve it for you.

Use Hostman to stop the redirection find out all about it here LINK simply add the www.ask.com entry to the list.
Sounds like you homepage has been hijacked by ask.com you can also try to remove the entries using HIJACK THIS from trendmicro
look for the entry that looks like this.
HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain,Start Page = http://www.ask.com
HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain,Default_Page_URL = http://www.ask.com
Sometimes where you restart your changes will be overwritten so its best to uninstall the ASK toolbar as well.

Sony are either doing a maintenence update or trying to fix the latest update bug that is preventing people from logging on. It will be fixed so give it some time and try again later.

how many users are there in your computer if you are the only one and you are not able to login and if you have xp as the operating system then go to safe mode restart the system and keep tapping on F8 it will take you to safe mode and then go to control panel user accounts and create a new user or reset the password of you account it will wrk and if is asking for the password in safe mode use administrator.
plz let me know if it worked and if you have a different operating system and you are the only user then i am sorry you have to reinstall the operating system and this time keep two accounts so that you can recover

If you forgot the four digit parent lock code you set up for the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra or LeapPad Platinum, you may retrieve the code with these steps:
1. Using a computer or other device connected to the internet, go to www.leapfrog.com
2. Click "Log In/Register" (or "My Account" if already signed in) on the top right of the page.
3. Sign in with the email address used to set up the LeapPad.
4. You'll land on the "My Account" page.
5. Click "Account Information". Directly beneath the orange "Edit" button you will see the Parent Lock code information for any LeapPad3 or LeapPad Ultra set up using this account.
