Question about KitchenAid Superba Architect KSCS25INSS Side by Side Refrigerator
Is there ice in the tray of the icemaker? Usually the icemaker will "**** out" after water has filled the tray, so if there is ice in it, that has been there for a couple weeks, then your ice maker is broken, or possibly has come unplugged. Check the icemaker plug first to make sure it is completely tight, and that the "full ice bin" detector bar isn't stuck.

The most likely thing would be a bad water valve.try to reset the ice maker and watch to see if the tray fills up the fill tube could also be blocked with frozen water.the last thing is simply a bad ice maker.

this is not a solution, but an explanation- our repair man said that there is a line (tube) containing electric wires that passes from the frig to the door at the bottom of the door, near the hinge. for what ever reason, the line has broken, thus keeping the electric from getting to the motor that dispense ice and water- solution= $700 for a new door; we'll do without

Replace the icemaker . The laser receiver (on right side ) is supposed to blink twice then pause then twice repeatedly .Normal. Also clean the coils under fridge .

Is the freezer cold enough? Should be close to 10 degrees.
Is there water or ice in the ice mold? If not put water in it and see if it dumps the ice after it's frozen. If there is ice, lift the cut off arm and let it drop to see if it will start.
If it does dump the ice but don't refill with water.
ICE MAKER NOT GETTING WATER
Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It's on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.
The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
