Ok, these are hard wire for installing in a vehicle. There are a few ways, of the easiest would be the 12v converter. You can do this by purchasing a cigarette plug and wiring it in. Red to red and black to black. If you do not want to go this way, you can use a battery charger for a vehicle to power your cb then everything else is just like a car.

If you decide to use a battery charger be prepared to hear complaints of a "humming noise" when you transmit. You may want to find a filtered power supply. You can also use a 12v Battery if you mount it outside for safety reasons.

hi i got a problem with my radio
i got this midland 77-092 CB radio
it first happened when i putted the antenna with has magnet base on the radio, the radio has metal casing, and it began to make a weird noise, after that got quite but smoke started to come out, so i got it off, then opened it to check it, and seems to be a 3 pinned transistor that is also welded to the casing(guess is the ground terminal or transistor)that got fried, so i don't know if was the magnet of the antenna that cause it.
radio still powers up but like for 30 seconds it will start to smoke again from that piece.
i will like to know if this piece can be found somewhere so i can replace it, and will appreciate, link or at least pics so i can look for it in local market.

putting your antenna directly on the case caused you to have a bad standing wave ratio. Frying the final transistors is the norm for keying the radio with a bad match.

Diagram setting up cb radio in house

That depends on your power source and what type of antennae you're using. Can you tell us if your antennae is a mobile antennae or a home/base station antennae? What is your power source, a car battery or a 120 volt AC to 12 volt DC converter? More info is good.

Cb is buzzing when i hooked it up in the house

If a cobra 29 as indicated here what are you using for power for it? If a base radio as indicated it also has a 12 volt connection--if no problem via the 12 volt connection the fault is in the built in power supply the radio has.

All "Base" radios have 12 volt connection and their own internal power supply to operate off wall voltage.

I don't think there is a in accessories. The 24 volt truck systems are Cranking and Lighting. Either way you have no risk at trying the lower 12 volt car electrical. The problem is when you reverse polarity.

I want to install my playstation 3 in my car but im not sure about the hookup

get a power converts 12 volts dc (car voltage) into 110 volts ac (house outlet voltage). i would go with at least a 400watt. the playstation 3 consumes approximately 380 watts. also get an fm modulator to send the playsation's audio into the car radio via the fm tuner. unless the radio has aux inputs, if so connect the ps3 audio into that. there are plenty of video monitors out there that run on twelve volts too.

Just do not understand it at all! can you help with model ar-ry7?

An inverter uses 12 volt DC current and inverts it to 110 volt AC current.
Basically, it will take 12 volts from a car battery, and change it to 110 volt current , same as in your house. What part are you having problems with?

It is called an inverter, and it may not be hooked up, u will have to trace the source power for the outlets and at the source add an inverter to change 12 volts DC to 110 volts AC.
