Samsung remote control issues

I just bought a new samsung LN-T4061F and the remote is crazy. The menu screen pops on and off when I try to hold the volume or channel button in. Any ideas?

LN-T4061F turns on black screen sound is there and no menu appears
Ur LCD inverter backlight board is dead.Replaced this LCD inverter backklight board.U will get ur picture back.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter backlight board for the replacement.

When I turn the tv on a text box appears in the middle of the screen that says "not available" if I go into the TV menu it continues to scroll like someone is pressing buttons on the remote

Our 4 year old hit the front of our LN -T4061F Samsung set with a plastic ball. It now has a shattered imprint that is black with white shatter marks and ranbow stripes...any chance the repair is less...
Sadly, the screen is the most expensive part of the TV. The replacement screen would cost more than the TV is worth. Shopjimmy.com is the only affordable place to buy the replacement screen, But, they are out of stock. Usually, the screen cost around $250 to $350. Any other website will cost an arm and a leg. Buying a new TV would be best at this point.

I have a LN-T4061F Samsung LCD, I'm seeing vertical bars across the screen
most of the time this is the ctrl board its like a graphic card tells the screen what to show,but the cable from that goes to main board sometimes this is the cause of lines/open it get no of control board it has a 30 pin thin lead going to main board and google it easy to replace plug n play

Why, is my Samsung LN-T4061F taking longer and longer to turn on?
most likely the lamp or inverter is bad.

Check to make sure each lamp is inserted properly into it's socket and make sure each wire that goes to each lamp is not loose.

The inverter maybe going bad as well.

LN-T4061f samsung lcd no backlight, no sound, no picture
Replacing the capacitors would be a good start. Replace all the ones with the same capacitance and voltage rating even if they do not look bulge.
