Hold right side buttons . time will flash set using top button, then use lower button to move through each aspect of menu. You use the top button to make changes then bottom to go to next option. Lower left button to exit
Hope it helps

Well, just hold the the button on the top-left(it should say set/light), for like 3 seconds, and then it will take you to the time setting. Press the button on the bottom-right to change the specific setting:hour, minutes, date, year, etc. and press the bottom-left button to move to the next setting. When ur done everything, just press the top-left button and it will save everything and ur watch will be up to date.

First lets get the buttons identified. Electronic 4 button watches are probably controlled by the same chip. Top left is the light button. Going clock wise S2 (Stop/Start), S1 (Reset), and S3 (Mode). Press S3 button (lower left) 3 times.- Tuesday flag and seconds should flash. Press S2 and Seconds will set to 00. Press S1 one time, Minutes flash and advance by pushing S2. Press S1 again and Hour digits Flash and S2 makes them advance. Continue through Date, Month, Day. When finished press S3

A friend gave me an Adidas ADP1778 watch, and I can't figure out how to set the time, date, or anything. Can someone help, please?

You can get instructions from their web site

Click on "instruction manuals" in the menu on the left, choose your country.

You will be presented with a series of generic instructions from which you
should choose the ones that suit your watch.

I can not change the time on my watch ADH1768. I can not find your model in the manual to help me on settings. Thank you! Vanessa

It appears that this model has been discontinued so that it will not be in their catalogue.

The instruction manual list for Adidas does not list them under models but as descriptions of features.

If you go to and scroll down to the one called "10 lap digital", this seems nearest to the model you have.

Try following the "time setting " instructions. There may be slight differences between models but there a limited number of alternative button sequences available, so it shouldn't take very long to work out the correct alternative if the one given is not quite correct.

My me1020 came without instructions and i do not know how to set the date, min nor theday please help

Actually there is no instruction manual for ME1020 available on Fossil website except for how to replace the battery. When you try to match ME1020 model with the available diagrams, there is no match (4 eyes). To set the time, pull the crown out to the second position. Now set the min/hour hands. Date hand is linked to it so keep rotating the crown till the date is set is set correctly. Now remaining is the day setting. Notice that the day changes every 24 hour mark on the 24 Hour sub-dial, so cross this mark to change the day. Go reverse & again cross the 24 hour mark to get the next day. Repeat this till you get the correct day setting. Now your day is also set along with date & time!

Changing the date on a fossil watch- how do you do it?

Which Fossil do you own?

Analog Date Watch:
Date Setting
  1. Pull the crown out to position 2.
  2. Turn the crown either clockwise or counter-clockwise and set the date for the previous day. The direction that moves the date varies on different watch models.

Analog Automatic:
Time and Date Setting

  1. Pull crown out to position 2 and rotate clockwise to set time.
  2. Pull crown out to position 3; date will advance automatically. To set to required date, continue to rotate crown between positions 2 and 3.
  3. Push crown back to position 1.
Analog Digital:
Time and Calendar Setting

  1. Press and hold pusher A for 2 seconds to enter setting mode. Year will begin flashing.
  2. Press pusher A to select year, month, date, hour, minute, second, and then exit setting mode.
  3. Press pusher B to adjust digit.
  4. Press and hold pusher B to adjust digit automatically.
  5. If no pushers are operated for 30 seconds, setting will be returned to Normal Time Display.

These are the three most common Fossils. If yours isn't here please let me know which model you have and I'll get you the instructions.
Hope this helps.
