Question about Texas Instruments TI-30 XIIS Calculator

This is for the TI-30 XIIS. It should work for you once you find the (nCr) key or the menu item under PRB key. If you know the formula skip to Exemple

Let us start with a review of the formula for the binomial distribution

**f(r;n,p)=n!/(r!(n-r)!)x(p^r)x(1-p)^(n-r) **

But **n!/(r!(n-r)!)=(nCr)** you get

f(r;n,p)= **(nCr)x(p^r)x(1-p)^(n-r) **

**Exemple : n=25, r=6, p=0.7 **

The arrow means a horizontal scroll once to select the (nCr) function. [ x ] stands for the multiplication sign.

[ ^] is the raise to the power key

The { } are used here as parentheses to make formula legible.

Yes you can enter basic or complicated expressions, you just can't enter equalities nor equations. The calculator cannot solve equations. When an expression (without an = sign) is entered, pressing the ENTER key will evaluate it.

I have a TI-30XS Multiview and need to calculate the margin of error. I do not understand how to input the formula
