Question about GE WSXH208A Front Load Washer

GE Adora front load wont lock the door or start at all. GE service is not existant.

Ge adora front load washer not draining

I had the same problem with mine. would figure you have it fixed by now, but it is your pump. I had a childs sock get PAST the lint filter and jam my pump. but it does not take long for the pump to go bad once something has gotten into it. Somewhat of an easy fix, if your a do-it-yourselfer

I have a front load ge adora and it is locked and wont open and it wont wash.

reset your circuit breaker. it should power back on in less than 30 seconds. the circuit may be on the outlet or the breaker box. let me know how it worked out for you. hope this helps

GE Adora door locked after power surge and can't get it to unlock and come on

You probably need to replace the door lock mechanism. Try unplugging it and then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, you probably need a repairman, or someone with more electronic feature knowledge.

My washer will not start. I press the start/pause button and it just beeps twice and does not lock door or start wash. ge adora model wcvh6260

clean the drain filter located behind the front lower panell, its prob. holding excess h2o and wont let the water fill cycle activate. this happened to mine.

Wont spin

I found the solution to clean the lint filter on the GE Adora. Go to http://www.instructables.com/id/GE-Adora-Lint-Filter-Cleanout/?download=pdf

I just did this and my washer is now running instead of the flashing start/pause and door unlocking. It was fairly easy. Make sure you have towels and a flat pan to catch the water if you don't have the machine on a riser. There may be water inside so a wet vac may be helpful too. Once my washer finishes what was in it, I have these funky towels to clean. You'll be very surprised what you find in the filter! Best of luck!

Hi,

Have you tried a full hard reset? This is simply unplugging the unit from the mains for a couple of hours.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
