Question about Kenmore 65942 Electric Dryer
I push the start button and the dryer will not start. However, if I hold the start button down it will run fine. Also, if you set the timer on and if you don't use the dryer the timer will still go but it doesn't do that now, it just sits at the time I put it on. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Missy K, this is a even heat dryer, sounds like you are going to need the even heat board. This is not hard to install, it's under the consol on the left side. Your part number is 3976627, if you go to repairclinic.com and enter the part number it will give you a picture of it and the price. This is a classic syptom of the even heat board failure. Catriver.
