Question about Cyber Acoustics CV-1064 Microphone
I dont know how to set up the cyber acoustic mic 1060 to get it to work
For Vista 32 bit. Go to the driver manager. De-instal/delete the driver in the Sound, Video and Game section. In my case it was RealTek High Def Audio ver 184.108.40.20671. (Select Delete the driver files.) Reboot. Vista will reinstall a driver. In my case it was Microsoft High Def audio ver 6.0.6000.16386. I had the mic plugged in when I rebooted to load the new driver. The Cyber Acoustics ML-1060 now works fine. Hope this helps.

There is no driver for a mic. its a mic. make sure mic input isnt muted. i have this mic and it works. at first it appeared not to work but that is because the record input wasnt set to mic input and the mic was muted

Ok... you 1st plug it in to the back of ur computer..... well, i messed with it on windows movie maker... you should have it on ur computer somewhere... if you go to record (on windows movie maker)it will have options on scroll bars and what u do is... make sure the 1st roll down bar says: Record: Audio Only... u can do the video too but not with the mic.. then click on the button that says: CHANGE DEVICE Then you go to the line scroll bar and click on microphone... then you should be able to play your voice and hear it well

I have the same mic. I almost returned it until i came up with a solution. I uninstalled the the sound on my computer. Then restarted the computer, this will reinstall all the correct drivers and the driver needed for the mic. (I have windows vista home basic) Hope this helps you. Also you can see their website where they have support for their mics since they seem to have a lot of issues.

I hooked the MC-160 up and nothing. No instructions came with it. Don't know anything about a sound card. Please help

Put it mic input of sound card then un mute in in sound options
