Hi: I use Printmaster Platinum 18. It has distroyed my address book... and I am unable to get it to let
me rebuild it either by starting new or importing it.
I can see the address's in the folder that holds all
the different functions and I can look at it there but when I open the program and start working with it it wil not let the address book work. It just tells me there is no address book or address's
I pulled up the help and I am totally confused by
the actions it tells me to do...what is a coma form for building the address's? I am not brillant and so a lot of the computer language is very confusing and I just get lost. Thanks for help Karin

Hi: I own Printmaster Platnium 18. For some reason my computer decided to wipe our all my address files when in the program and making something. I tried and have been trying to rebuild the address book. But the program will not let me make a new one or import my address's. What is funny is if I go to C/programs/
Printmaster 18/and look in all the file folders I can see them and so I know the info is still there but the program will not let me do anything with it. It also tells me maybe my hard disk is full...I am sorry my hard drive is not full I am using about 50% of the space and I have a 250GB hard drive.
I pulled up the information from the help menu but I am not a knowledgable person when it comes to computer language. It talks about a comma format and I don't know what that is. If you can help I hope the
langage is simple and easy to use. Please help!!

HP xw 4400 will not recognize my hard drive when trying to install OS Windows XP Prof.

Windows XP had a hard time recognizing hard drives larger than 127 GB. The best solution is to install Windows XP with service pack 2 or 3 already slipstreamed. Otherwise, you are going to have to partition your hard drive with at least 1 partition of 127 GB or smaller.

What personal media drive will fit the HP m 1190n media bay. Will any fit or are they part number specific? Thank you

Not sure what you mean by personal media player.

1) If its an Ipod or any MP3 player, you should be able to connect any via a USB cable, or directly plugged in.

2) if you mean CD or DVD drive/player like the one that came with it, they're generic, any with the correct interface (IDE or SATA) Though I think SATA in this case.

Here's a URL with the full specification of your system to help:-

If you mean the "personal media bay" listed here, I think were back to a generice CD/DVD drive.

Formating hard disk

IF the old PC motherboard will recognize the drive while booting up, Windows 98 will also see the drive after boot-up. You may have to reformat the drive into smaller partitions.

All you have to do is physically install the drive in your old computer and attempt to boot. After the computer boots up, if the drive does not show up shut down and put the drive back in your old computer. Use the manufacturer's partitioning software available on their website to change the drive from one 250 Gb partitions to five 50 Gb partitions.

The computer I need help with is my HP Media Center PC m7367c / Serial # MXK552071W / Windows xp media center 2005. When starting my computer, it locks up at the blue hp screen and never boots up.

your hard drive may be dead, try unpluggin the hard drive and plug it back in. Hopefully your motherboard will detect the hard drive, if this doesn't work, most likely your hard drive is dead

HP Media XP Desktop won't boot up...

If yours is an original hp it should have a rescue or diagnostics partition that you should be able to access by pressing f10 in here you will find a diagnostics tool that will help isolate if you have a bad cd rom or memory. If all tests come out good then you need to get a hold of another cd; maybe your's is scratched.

Installing a new hard drive

XP SP 2 supposedly has no limitations on hard drive size so if you selected it to use the maximum available space during setup it "should" have picked up the entire drive. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you are running the latest BIOS on your system, so you may want to check into that if you haven't already. I hate to say this but you may have to rerun the XP setup from your CD and make absolutely sure that the maximum partition size is selected and that it matches the size you expect it should.

Good luck and let me know how it goes. I'll continue to research and will let you know if I find anything of any help.
