Question about RIM BlackBerry? Curve 8330 Cellular Phone
Try this http://www.unique-stuff.co.cc/fixing_sticky_blackberry_trackball.html They have some tricks to fix a sticky unscrollable blackberry trackball without disassembling. I try the rotating straw technique and it works for me!! I have my trackball working again now..

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Take it where you bought it and try to get it replaced, saying it's defective. Hopefully you're under warranty, unlike myself who has a **** blackberry who's radio keeps turning off randomly and won't make or recieve calls without having to manually reconnect 'mobile network' hundreds of times a day. Your phone must have got really wet though because buttons and **** don't ******* unless exposed to extremly wet conditions (trust me, I know). I'd like an iphone over this **** for damn sure but i'm stuck with any annoying and fairly useless phone for now.

Your trackball has dirt or more commonly dust in it. You will have to roll it and move it around like crazy to get the dirt out. You can also try blowing while turning.
It is not easy to get it out but when you do it willl work just fine.
