Attachment stuck on shaft of food processor

I have a kfp750 food processor and was making breaddough yesterday, when the blade attachment suddenly rose up from its normal position. I shut the processor off, removed the dough, but cannot get the blade attachment off the shaft. Do you have any suggestions as to how to get it off? Thank you

Put the mixing bowl up as much as possible. spray some wd40 into the groove between the attachement and the motor shaft. Wait for several minutes, then with a hammer and a piece of wood, give the bowl a good wack. With a few goes, it will gradually come off. I will be putting some butter inside the attachement from now on to keep it lubricated

I have the 14-Cup Cuisinart Elite Collection Food Processor. Up until recently it was working fine. Recently when using the shredder blade, when I insert food into the feeding tube the blade stops...

If the unit works OK with other attachments and the problem is only with the one cup; then the blade may be loose and spins on the shaft, the connection gear under the bottom is worn or binding up. Debris is stuck around the blade shaft or from heating up the metal parts expanded and bind when turning.

The stem is stuck on kitchenaid kfpw760

The motor shaft sleeve and spindle will need to be replaced, once this jamming has happened it becomes ongoing if you do not replace those inexpensive parts. You need to wrap some webbing tightly around the spindle attach the other end to something very solid (like a fence post) and then accelerate the motor part rapidly away from the post. Hold onto the motor very firmly or it will land on the ground. The webbing tightens instantly when it runs out of slack and the spindle will come off. Then you need to remove the motor shaft sleeve in a similar manner, I drill a hole in the end and use a shackle and chain attached to the post for that one. I use the leg of my workshop bench, most folks will not have a solid heavy bench like mine. If that sounds too hard just take it to your local K/A service agent, they will have done it many times.

Can't remove the container from the motor housing

It will be the blade holding the bowl on. The blade has become locked onto the motor shaft, in the end you are going to need to replace both. Take it to a K/A service agent.

How to remove motor shaft sleeve from KitchenAid Food Processor?

I just did this. I used a screwdriver and some needle-nose pliers to wedge and separate the shaft from the base. Once you've separated it by about 1/2 inch, it will come off easily. I simply used a mallet to install the new one.
