Question about Andis Styliner SLII Hair Trimmer
My andis styliner 2 has its blades moving but is not cutting. I tried dismantling them and sharpening them with a home-file. Is there a better instrument to sharpen blades? Is there another way to correct this problem? Thanks Ricky

Clipper blade sharpeners are availale but the cost of these typically start at about $300 and go as high as several thousand dollars. This makes it unaffordable for home use.
For affordable, professional clipper blade sharpening, I suggest you contact the folks at clipperparts.com
Your clipper moves at just one speed. There is no way to 'speed it up' if it is working correctly.

The HQ4 blades are self-sharpening. The manufacturer also suggests changing these every 12 months.
If you require new HQ4 blades, you will find them available at shaveroutlet.com. See link below
