Question about Fossil Watches
I have a pair of Fossil stainless steel earrings and the post on one of them has broken off. I would very much like to get it repaired. The local traditional jewellers don't repair stainless steel items.
Joining Stainless Steel is very difficult, most items being spot welded which is more akin to the engineering rather than the jewellery trade. You might consider affixing a new stem which has a flat plate attached. These can be cemented on and would be hidden when worn and are available widely, I saw them on sale in John Lewis.
