Will the URC-04-1 remote control operate my Liteon DVD player/recorder if yes could you give the codes, luv ya all

It seems that there is no direct setup code to this brand DVD player, with this remote control. Anyway, you can do a code search method to find out, if there is any codes in this remote control for the said DVD player. If you do fail in this code search method too, there is no other way than buying a new remote control, which have setup codes to Liteon DVD player. If you wish to get more details, check the sites linked here. Setup code list, and setup procedure to many popular brand remote controls are given. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy.

NO COLOR ONLY BLACK PICTURES

carl,

i'm not familiar with this brand but try to access" setup menu" from your remote control.

1) from your remote control , locate button indicating "setup" and press it
2) viewing your screen there should be a dialogue box or this display board indicating 'Audio setup" Video setup" etc....
3)scroll arrow key (up/down key)and go to "video"
4)in "video setup there should be a dialogue box or drop box asking you to select either " Auto" " PAL" or "NTSC"
5) choose auto and see if anything change in your screen.

cheers,
mark

RCA F25645 25in TV.

I have this same TV. The DVD player is either hooked up to the video or s-video input. Go to the Menu (either through the remote or from the front of the TV) and select the Setup option. Go to the part where it asks if you want to use a DVD player. Select yes. Then select Video Input. Exit the Setup. When you hit the DVD button, it will switch to the Video input. The second step is to go into the Menu and select Channel, then go to Video Input Source. From there, select which input you are using for your DVD player, the S-Video or the standard Video (yellow composite cable).

Recording from cable dvr

You have to hook up an AV cable from the box to the DVDR.. Out on the cable box to IN on the DVD player.
Then put your DVD player on AV1 - ( you can do this by pressing the INPUT SEL button on the DVDR remote)

Then put the Cable box on whatever channel you want to record. And press the record button on the DVDR and you will record whatever channel the cable box is on

If you can't get to AV1 then you have to disable cable box control (menu>setup>system>cable box control>off

Can't set this thing up

I have the same model and it works wonderful, but you need the remote control to record.  connect cable from video out on recorder to video in on you tv. at least you'll be able to play the dvd.  If this doesn't work it's because you need the remote to set the date and time features.
