Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
The fan on my PS3 switches on after about 15 minutes of gameplay and stays on constantly. The air coming out of the back is not hot. My PS3 was bought December 2007 and has been very well looked after. Sony say they will replace at the cost of £131 but I was wondering if a repair may be a better option and last longer. My options are get existing repaired, replace with like for like copy via Sony or buy a new slim version but that is expensive. I'm sure this problem has been posted on many occassions so sorry if I'm repeating what's already been said. Any clues?
That shouldn't be an issue with the fan coming on as that is what it is supposed to do if it still works why replace it ?
