GE Energy Star WCVH6260F Front Load Washer: door locking problem

GE Energy Star WCVH6260F Front Load Washer. you set on any cycle it locks door does entrapment cycle as explained manual after 2-3 minutes says door locked and start/pause button is blinking. when you again say start it does that initiasl check cycle and again stops with start/pause button blinking . does not go to actual wash cycle

I would take filter out of drain Pump and check for obstructions. There will be water gushing out when filter is removed, so be prepared.

Sounds like the door sensor has become faulty. Unfortunately this is only a vague symptom,of the actual Root cause Are there any other error codes?.

Door wont lock on front loader

It is possible that you have a bad door lock assembly, I would check the wiring harness connector to door lock for proper fit

My washer will not start. I press the start/pause button and it just beeps twice and does not lock door or start wash. ge adora model wcvh6260

clean the drain filter located behind the front lower panell, its prob. holding excess h2o and wont let the water fill cycle activate. this happened to mine.

Front load Washer

You have to clean-out your inlet hoses; the hose/s external of machine, the screens. You may not be getting sufficient water.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
