Question about Cuisinart DLC-8S Pro Custom Food Processor
I have a DLC 8 Plus Cuisinart Food Processor, 15 years old but only light to moderate use.
Sometimes it makes a squealing sound as it spins but not always or not until it's been going a while. Question is do we get a new one on sale or take this for repair (or even do nothing).
Your Cuisinart should be warrantied for a little longer (25 minus 15 years) so call the factory to authorize a return or see if you can drop it off at a local retail outlet to save you shipping costs (CA law requires them to accept it for service)..
New ones are only warrantied for 3 years and they cost about $200 on up.
I think your best investment is to get it fixed.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
