Question about Acer TravelMate 6291-6753 Notebook

Touchpad doesnt work.

Acer travelmate 6291 on XP os:

touchpad doesnt seems to work. have tried re-installing driver but still not working. however, it works fine with the mouse. any suggestion? TQ.

If ur touch pad not work than after install .driver of touchpad,ok than it is propearly work done.

I suppose there is no hardware fault. Please reinstall touchpad drivers from the following website and try going into Mouse settings and check if scroll bar is enabled. Install the one apppropriate to your hardware for eg if your touchpad is ALPS install ALPS driver.

Touch pad curser does not work, not able to use

It might be the driver. You could try downloading and reinstalling it:

Its cannot scan or detect

You need to reinstall the scanner driver in your computer.
Uninstall scanner driver first then if you have scanner driver disk then you can install it fro that disk.
Give me your scanner information so i can give you url for download drivers or your scanner.

Acer travelmate 6291 with windows xp

The Windos XP version of Realtek Audio is here (ftp://202.65.194.212/pc/audio/WDM_A405.exe). In some instances, it may be necessary to install Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio. Acer travelmate 2413lm touchpad not working after reinstall

It can be possible if you don't install the correct motherboard drivers in your system, but if you have install the correct Drivers by using your product Service tag No. or Product key No. then it is a Hardware connectivity problem and you have to take it to a hardware repaire shop.
