SOURCE: Network Printer Problem

Does your printer have a hard disk installed? If no it may be trying to store the print job to Ram disk. Try turning off ramdisk on the printer and also disabled mopier in the driver, (device settings?)

SOURCE: hp 2420 prints a ''job storage status page'' after each print job

If you have your software driver or print job set to save your print jobs to the printer and your printer does not support this, you will get that error and status page. Here is what the User's manual says about print job storage:
"The printer supports two distinct job-storage features that you can use to initiate printing from the printer control panel after the print job is sent from the computer:
● Proof and hold jobs
● Private jobs
Make sure that you identify your jobs in the printer driver before printing. Using default names might override previous jobs that have the same default name or cause the job to be deleted.

The job-storage features require 48 MB of RAM. For printer models that have less than 48 MB of RAM, you can add memory so that they can support the features."

SOURCE: 1. unable to store job at printer. 2.

That is actually telling you that your computer doesn't have enough free space to store the print data before it sends it to the printer. Under accessories run the clean disk utility and try to free up some space. As well you can empty your recycle bin and from your web browser clean out your cache. Those will usually do the trick. You can also cause this is you are trying to print at some real super high settings that aren't needed. The printer might do it but you may not need it or even be able to see the difference past a certain quality.

SOURCE: unable to store job at printer.

- Add another Memory Dimm to the Formatter Bd you can print the config page and see how much is presently installed you can go up to 500mb.
- It is unlikely you have actually filled up the Hard drive if even installed on the printer.
- Have the Admin enlarge the print spool on the server end for that printer.

SOURCE: everytime we try to print

This is for Windows Vista--depending on your version of Windows, some steps could be worded a little bit differently. Don't worry, you should still get to the right place eventually! :)

Go to "Start"

Go to "Control Panel"

Below "Hardware and Sound," click Printer

Right click the printer you want and select "sharing"

Click "Advanced" tab

Choose "Print directly to the printer"

Apply and then press OK

You are set to go!!

Error: Unable to store job at printer Reason: Insufficient disk space for this job. Solution: Delete some file from the disk before resending this job. How do I fix this?

If you are trying to use job storage, you will likely need to add memory to your printer or install a EIO harddrive. You may have accidently selected job storage when you did not mean to. In that case you will need to cancel any existing print jobs as well as restart the printer.
