Question about Computers & Internet
First to know is it system password or boot password?Yes it will not work. Its in a chip (EEPROM).
If you are not the owner of the PC (first user) you can transfer the ownership and ask a dell technician to do the thing for you. If you didn't change the password use these default passwords.
DELL, BIOS, admin, BOOT, password.
You can chat with a Dell tech https://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/chat/hardware_chat?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&redirect=2
There is a pin reset for the chip (not the bios/cmos)but since you may not an expert I m not gonna list it here.
If its just the windows password you can try http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd Offline NT password and registry editor. http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=639 (how to) They would work up to vista
Now this link is very important. This works on most systems. Check the blog and follow the steps. http://dogber1.blogspot.com/2010/04/dell-595b-keygen.html

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
