Question about LaCie Hard Disk 1TB Desktop with Hi-Speed USB2.0 USB 2.0 Hard Drive
LaCie Neil Poulton 1TB USB/eSata/Firewire will not mount, not with USB cable, not with eSata. In the device manager I can see it, however. What to do?
The hard disk inside it has probably died. Take it out of the case and put it in the pc directly - if even now it's not responsive then it's surely dead - junk it. if now you can see it then the electronics if the case are dead - junk it and buy a new external case.
