Question about ASUS Eee Computers & Internet
No locations stated, east Canada, but what city, so we can find what stations, super stations are near you 50KW .?
50,000 watts if close anything picks it up... and is hard to block. if you are CLOSE called NEAR field in radio engineering.
if the head phone jack picks up sound from the unstated for sure station, then it sure can be the wifi card, antenna port, (if the station goes dead with wifi antenna unscrewed, then now you know the path is conductive and not thru the cheap plastic unshielded case.
this Cheap (I have one) micro PC has no shielding at all, its got just cheap plastic covers, so if near any super stations 50KW you will have problems.
why not listen to it for 15minutes to get the station ID call sign NPR or? AM radio stations. true call sign.
I'm sure its not FM stations, most times if USA is these ,the super stations are super powerful.
this PC has no speakers at all just line out/phones jack.
so my guess is you have head phones there, or is this USB head phones, why not tell what your ears are connected to so we can not guess. (ok?)
one trick to solve this (have 2) IS THE WIFI TERMINATOR PLUG.
AND 2ND IS To warp the PC I kitchen aluminum foil forming what we call a FARADAY shield this blocks all RF signals, like real PCs already have .
NO city you live stated so very very hard to wax smart, I even have spectrum analyzer and know how to use it. (but there are simple tests, and means)

Hello Machatsiduba, It's likely that the network card is capturing some radio signals phones close to your geographical location. Specifically, the Wi-Fi controller can cause this problem; I recommend you follow these links to solve this problem. 1) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4000460/windows-10-check-wi-fi-drivers-settings

You may be choosing the wrong encryption method. For instance your entering your wireless key (WEP) and you have it set on (PSA, WPA). Make sure those settings match. Also you may have an IP conflict which is resolved by setting up a static ip. If the encryption methods match and you need help with a static IP let me know
