Question about Aloha Housewares (93645) Ceiling Fan

1 Answer

We bought a 91189 rubbed bronze ceiling fan from k-mart in november last year. It had a remote but we did not use it. I had to replace the light switch and then the fan switch broke. The electrician said they might not be able to replace it so we bought a new fan. Is there a chance I might get a refund?

The purchase was a working unit of all items within the box. If they are not suitable and sufficient or general use over a low amount of time i would think it is viable to gain a refund for faulty goods as one part of the two has broken .

SOURCE: breeze ceiling fan not working

We have a 52" Aloha Breeze fan that stopped working this evening - fan and light. The remote control was burning up - after reading the other posts I hate to see what else is burning! Sounds like it would be safer to buy a new, reputable fan than spend more money on replacement parts.

SOURCE: Ceiling fan wiring Aloha ceiling Fan Model # 29079

I have an Aloha Breeze L-Style 52" Ceiling Fan(Polished Brass), Model # 29079 Bought From Wal-Mart about 1 1/2 years ago and the fan speed switch busted and the capacitor melted. I have a new switch but can't find a new capacitor because I can't read the spec info. Looking for a place to obtain the correct capacitor for this fan so I can make necessary repairs!

If it's a thin rectangular receiver (probably has UC7067 printed on it) It "slides" into the mounting bracket up by the electrical box. If this doesn't help you can call toll free 1-866-600-3267 at http://www.fanmanlighting.com/default.asp and ask for Jack Jr

I just bought this fan and I have it on high but it isn't going as fast as it should be...what do i do?

make sure its wired correctly, if all that is good, the motor is probably faulty, take it back to Home Depot and have it replaced, they come with a lifetime warranty even if you do not have the receipt.

Hampton 52" ceiling fan Bentley

Press any of the function buttons on the remote control and see whether the red light on the remote comes on. If it does, check the dipswitch settings on both the remote control and the receiver (located in the ceiling fan). If the dipswitch settings are the same and the fan does not work, you'll need to replace the receiver. If the red light on the remote does not come on, you'll need to replace the remote control.
