Question about Breadman TR2200C Ultimate Bread Maker

1 Answer

The machine stops half way through the procedure---is it worth having it fixed? It starts, gets thru the first kneading and then just stops. I want to know if it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new machine?

It's not worth it to pay for a repair friend. Recommend you just buy a used one on ebay. .

How can I get the machine to start the bread making process from the beginning. It is currently stuck on knead.

Do you have your owners manual and have you baked bread in your machine before? Just want to be sure that you know the stages that the machine goes through. The first mixing and kneading stage in a tr444 will take up to 15 minutes before it stops on its own. It will then let the dough rest for about 1/2 hour before the 2nd knead begins. It takes almost 4 hours for your machine to go through all the stages before your baked bread is finished.

Welbilt bread machine kneading wont start.making ticking sound

some bread machines warm the ingredients before any mixing starts. If your breamachine doesn't start mixing within 1/2 hour then you DO have a problem. Give it a half hour before you assume it is broken.

Breadmaker stopped and bread not baked

It usually isn't worth it to try to repair a bread machine and yours does sound like the eletronics have gone bad. I have several good machines for sale at very reasonable prices. contact me at breadmachineshelp.com if you are interested in replacing your k6725

The kneading mechanism just stopped kneading :( so sad! It's pretty old I guess. Do I have to bury it or is there a quick fix?

Be sure your machine is unplugged and take the panel off the bottom of the machine. Take a look in there and you will probably find that your drive belt has snapped or come off. If so contact breadmachineshelp.com for a replacement belt.

Bread machine model TR520, mixes the dough, stops for a long time, then starts mixing the dough again continuously without starting the bake cycle. This was on the french program. The machine is new...

By continuously do you mean forever, non-stop kneading? I'm guessing not. French bread is really nothing more than white bread dough kneaded for an extra long time. The extra kneading creates the chewyness common to French breads.

Hope this helps!

I put all ingredients in the machine and turn it on it shows 5.00 but nothing else it's not warming or kneading or anything. Please let me know what's the problem

push the "stop" button until it beeps..........then unplug your machine....then plug it back in...... and push the select button again and again until the program you want appears in the read out then push "start" your paddle should start kneading slowly unless you choose whole wheat, then it might take about 1/2 hour until it starts kneading.... If you choose program 1 or basic it should start kneading right away.... please let me know if this works....

It stops kneading and won't start again on its own. The only way to get it going again is to put it on "pause/stop", then push "start".

We have 2 machines.... BOTH operate about the same.
Load the raw materials and press Start. The both Knead for awhile the stop for a period of time to allow the dough to rise.... then start again... then pause for some time.... The knead and rise times vary with the setting we put in for our receipt/bread type.

Does this help/provide and insight?

The machine stops kneading in the middle of the program

Even Replacement May Not Help for Long.
After my six month old CBK200 had the same stop and start malfunction I was sent a brand new replacement by the company. Three months later the new unit started doing the same thing. I am putting up with it for now, but as soon as I have a little more time, I will go back to the authorized repair depot and request another replacement and hope for the best.
