Question about Canon PIXMA iP2000 InkJet Printer
The on light flashes orange then green. When we had this problem before, the waste receptacle was full and we had to do something to correct this. Unfortunately we cannot remember now what to do. Can you help please?
If you have a look in the manual, the flashing orange light has several meanings depending on how many times it flashes (it is 8 for the waste ink absorber almost full). For alternate orange and green it looks serious. The manual says:
"POWER lamp flashes alternate green and orange:
An error that requires contacting a Canon service representative may have occurred.
Disconnect the printer cable from the printer, and then turn the printer off and unplug the printer from the power supply for a while. Plug the printer back in and turn the printer back on.
If the problem remains, contact a Canon service representative."
Hope this helps.
