Question about CRL Fixed "All Glass Look" Window for Side Sliding Door - 1992+ Ford Vans 4

This sounds like a homework question. So I will help you but not give you the answer. If you have a computer you have a calculator. You must not be able to figure it out yourself.

The first thing you must do is convert all numbers to a common number so you can multiple L x W = Area (length times width)

there are 12 inches in a foot so 4' 2" is equal to ( 4 x 12) + 2 = 50" total or the L

likewise 2' 10" (2 x 12) + 10 = 34" or W

multiply 50 x 34 to get your area

The product is your area in square inches

To convert square inches to square feet you need to divide the total square inches by the number of inches in a square foot. since there are 12 inches in a foot 12 x 12 is equal to a square foot in inches or 144 (50 x 34 = X) X/144 = square feet

If you want to show your answer in whole square feet and the remainder in square inches you will need to multiply the whole number of square feet by 12 then subtract that from the total area of square inches and your answer will be X number of square feet and 116 square inches.

SOURCE: a window glass is 4 ft. 2 in. by 2 ft. 10 in. find its area

The area is 1700 sq. inches or 11.8056 sq. ft

Posted on Jan 03, 2012

50 X 8 = 400 multiply that by 2 ( front plus back) = 800 sq ft

sides 30 X 8 = 240 again by 2 for both sides = 480 sq ft

add both sums = 1280 sq ft

now to work out the triangle areas for the peeks you have to provide the vertical heights of the peaks and use the formula for areas of triangles (1/2 base by height) to get the rest

however you have not considered on the window/doors areas that could be used in the apex areas

you have a basic area but you are advised now to get quotes from cladding companies who can calculate it to close area to save wastage

a square foot measurement is the product of the length by the width (breadth) or the room or building

If the room is 10 ft wide by 10 ft long it is 100 square feet in area

If it 10 ft long by 30 ft wide it is 130 square feet in area

really this is grade 1 maths

so to make it easy for you ,take a tape measure and measure the dimensions and multiply them using a calculator and the answer is in square ft

Hello, to solve your question about what number to use to calibrate your broadcast spreader, please use the step-by-step instructions below:

1. If you don't already know the square footage of your lawn, please walk off or measure, multiplying the length by width. For example, my lawn is 100 ft wide by 100 ft long; this equals 10,000 sq. ft.

2. Use this figure (30,000 sq ft) to determine how much fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide, apply etc., to purchase and apply.

3. To calibrate the spreader for applying your product at the correct rate, first weigh and hold out an amount of product to cover a pre-determined test area; for example, enough for a 200 sq ft space.

4. Because most lawn fertilizers are packaged to cover areas in 1000 sq ft increments, it's easy to figure how many 1,000 sq ft applications you need for your lawn.

5. Set your spreader to 3 and measure 1/5 of the recommended application on your product, to cover a 200 sq ft area.

6. Use your spreader to cover this 200 sq ft area.

7. If there is product remaining in the hopper after walking this 200 sq ft area, increase the setting number and move to another test area, repeat steps 5 and 6.

8. If there wasn't enough product to cover the test area, back the number down, move to another test area, and repeat steps 5 and 6, until you finish with product and lawn test area at the same time.

9. Remember to never leave product in your hopper because many chemicals are corrosive and can destroy the moving parts, making the spreader inoperable.

I hope this helps!

Unfortunitly no, the window has a bad seal. The window has leaked out any of the gas (Argon) that may have been in it. So it is not really doing its job any more. So you are not saving heat or cool are and have a great place for bacteria to grow. Do your best to get that window changed.

I wish I had better news for you. I hope this information helped though. Let me know...

Ed is right, there is lots of screws and pop off caps, Have some tape ready to stick them to the panels you are taking off. And write down the succession as you take them off. I had 4 sections in my 1992 4Runner and then the seat belt in back had to be unscrewed from roof. Good Luck. Oh and I had glass in the compartment in the back over rear tires, found it like 1year later!
