Apartment size refrigerator just started to freeze everything

Check the seal around the door itself this may be worn or detatched. This will cause warm air to get into the appliance and freeze inside thus making you freezer look the the arctic.

Hi can you help ,my fridge is freezing everthing inside it ,it is not overloaded with food ,filter is fine , also water dispenser has just stopped working wondering if water pipe is also freezing ?...

Your thermostat is defective.... and yes, the water may freeze if the internal temp is too cold.
Try unplugging for 24 hours to thaw thermostat and re-try.
