How does the tv mount? - OmniMount "OmniMount 23" to 42" 4in1 Flat Panel TV Mount"

Are you asking how does the mount connect to the back of the TV? The instructions for those mounts should describe it, but they don't always do so very clearly. I've also had 2 flat panel mounts that didn't work with my TV even though the specifications on the box said it would. One of them didn't provide the right size of screws for my TV and the other one didn't have holes in the mount that were big enough for the screws.

1- remove the wall plate from the arm.
2- fix the front plate to the back of your television.
3- mark the position of the holes and drill
4- put wall plugs into holes.
5- secure the wall plate to the wall
6-attach the arm to the wall plate.
7-hang the screen on the arm (i recommend having someone help) and secure it in place

How do I install a tv on my wall

First of all find out what size mount is on the TV. On the back of the TV you should see 4 screw holes to take the bolts of the stand. You can measure the space between the holes. Then you can search for a mount that will take that size. If the TV is big you will need a very strong wall mount.
When you get the mount it should have instructions for mounting it. But make certain the wall you are fixing it to can take the weight and is stable. Fix the mount to the wall, make certain that you use the correct screws and plugs for the screws. You should be able to tell if the mount is secure enough. If you have any doubts, get somebody in to do it. The mount will come with the correct fixing screws for the TV. You will need two people at least to fix a smaller TV to the wall and two people to hold a big TV while a third screws the mount to the TV.

The wall mount is not made to be fit into the base, it is attached to the back the TV, TV uses what they call VESA mounting which had different pattern for each TV. Look at your TV user manual to find out the VESA mounting number.

the wall mount should have came with the proper screws to fit the back of your tv, if the screws fit the mounting holes on your wall mount, fit the larger screws that came with your tv through and make sure its tight, if so it should work.

42'' LCD PLTV-4250 MOUNTING

The universal mounts generally have a selection of screws that are to fit different makes and models of tvs.
If you bought the appropriate size mount for the size of your TV, there should be mounting holes that match your TV, and screws that will secure it.
I have not seen any mounts that use more than four.
