Hi sfulin,

No, apparently you're not missing any parts. I read reviews on for it and that is the chief complaint.

Rainbow Series E - we replced the plug with a non polarized plug. the breakers in the house popped off. no burned motor smell

So now you have to check the wires. The reason there is a polarized plug is to prevent the hot wire from being sent to ground. Obviously when you changed the plug, the hot wire was sent to ground. The current draw then burned a wire in half. There is no fuse.

My Beaumark popcorn maker isn't working! I have the type that is a large domed electric pan, with a metal 'stick' that goes around to move the kernels (presumably to stop them from sticking?)....

your problem is in the instructions.. you need to make it a little hot, means run it on empty for a few min. stop the machine, and add 2 tablespoosn of veg. oil your fav. oil, not olive. add enough pop corn to fill the inner circle surface of the bottem plate, then run it again until the bowl is full.. maybe 5 min. You should have perfect bowl full of pop corn.
enjoy :-)

I have a Gold Medal Fun Pop 2408 popcorn machine and it does not seem to get very hot. It takes for ever to work. It didn't used to be that way. Whats wrong.

The thermostat likely may be bad.

Gold Medal has an excellent online support to buy parts and they even offer live chat during business hours (see website). Their toll-free number is: 1-800-543-0862 .

Parts that are available (for the 2408) to buy online:

Good luck.

The Nordicware Popcorn Popper is one that actually works in the microwave. The 3-Qt. Popper makes light and fluffy popcorn in about 4 minutes. Just place 1/2-cup of popcorn kernels in the bottom bowl and cover with the lid. No oil needed, makes up to 12 cups of popped corn. Good luck Richard

They go in the slot beside the right wheel. Metal spring first, (the open ends facing away from front of vacuum base. The white nylon piece lays parallel and directly on top of the metal spring, round edge up, and aligned with the open ends of the metal springs.

I can't figure out how to put the bag on.

I had a terrible time trying to install a bag, too! The hinged piece must be closed. Hook the cardboard backing on the opening and
line up the pieces sticking out on either side of the hinged piece with the openings in the cardboard on the back of the bag. It has two places where you're supposed to place your fingers and push until it pops. Neither my husband nor I could make it pop, so I just looked at the back of the hinged piece and saw a little clamp type thing cut out in the plastic. This has to hook onto the plastic piece that is connected to the vacuum cleaner. Just bend it out and hook it on, making sure that everything is lined up.

We just moved and the movers didn't pack my Miele vacuum, they simply transported it as is. Now the piece that is supposed to interlock from the hose into the canister seems to be missing. Can you tell me how to get a replacement piece?

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. If you still have your owner’s manual then you can contact the Miele Factory cust serv and they can direct you to the parts dept and if you check your owner’s manual it may give you the part # on the schematic of what you need. Also, you can check with the local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions. The beater bar is not spinning.

The second belt is fitted to the clutch it goes from the motor to clutch.

Not sure how you checked clutch but didnt see 2 belts.

You will need to strip machine down removing brush roller & brush roll housing then you can get at the clutch.
