Why won't my PC power-up?

Firstly you should not unplug your computer for long times. Inside is a battery to keep the BIOS alive. When you unplug it, it flattens the battery and if left unplugged for a long time, it kills it. This means that the BIOS now starts in default mode, which can lead to many problems because all the custom BIOS settings are now lost forever or until you or someone else change them.
Change the battery on the motherboard and try again.
The reason why the LED was flashing then stops, is that the battery has a small charge enough to be stable. Now that your BIOS battery is dead, you will never be able to charge that battery again, so replace it.

Battery

The Casio Forester FT500WVB watch has an EL (Electroluminescent) backlight and requires one silver oxide button battery. The SR621W battery (also known as type 363) is recommended by the instruction manual for the watch. Note the suffix "W" means this battery is a high drain type which is suitable for powering a watch mechanism and the EL light as well for 2 to 3 years, depending on use of the light. "SW" suffix batteries are low drain and are intended only to power a watch mechanism, and not a light. Note also the "SR" prefix indicates the battery is silver oxide and not lithium. The SR type batteries do not use mercury and are therefore safer to dispose of when they are discharged. I have found the type SR626W (also known as type 377) battery is also suitable for the FT500WVB watch and it has more stored power and should therefore last longer.

Last, the Casio Forrester FT500WC looks exactly like the FT500WVB, but it is a different watch internally. The FT500WC has an LED light and requires two batteries- the SR920SW low drain silver oxide battery which powers the watch mechanism and the CR1616 lithium battery which powers the LED. The LED is brighter than an EL light and stays on longer than the EL light when activated. But the LED has a bright dot light source that some might find annoying.

Changed the batteries and now the main screen doesn't show anything. I even did the reset button in the back and changed the batteries again. The sensor works (LED Light blinks). How do I fix this

You said you pushed the reset button a couple of times...is it the one you have to press with a paper clip? you have to hold that button in for five seconds for the reset to take...not sure if you held it in or not...here's two links for the 2-page manual if that doesn't take care of it...

AND THEN... hold the lock/unlock button until the screen changes....the press the start/stop button which should get the seconds blinking so now you can begin to change things, switch to min/hr etc by pressing start/stop again. The orange run/rest button actually does the changing. good luck!

End-of-life indicator for Victorinox Night Vision II watch - I seemed to remember that the watch battery can be monitored through the red LED that blinks every 10 secs. when it is OK, if the battery needs...

Not a malfunction - just a dead battery. See the manual:

Lost instructions to set my solo digital watch

I think I have the same watch and was just looking here to see if I could find how to stop the alarm going off every hour! However, I think I do know how to change the time: press the mode button three times (the first one brings up something like the stopwatch, the second brings up what may be an alarm time). On the third press you should get the time appearuing with the seconds flashing on the far right of the display. You can then change the second by pressing the"start" button. To change the minutes or hours, oress the "reset" button until they start flashing and use the start button again. pressing the reset button again will bring up the date to change. keep pressing until nothing is flashing any more and poress mode and it should bring you back to the current time. hope you can follow this and it works!
