My washer is giving me an error message of F30 and it makes humming noise like it wants to come on but it doesn't.

The fault guide says the following about F30:

DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR
The dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position

1. Unplug and disconnect power
2. Check mechanical linkage from dispensor motor to top of dispenser
3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and central control unit
4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations

Hope this helps

My whirlpool sport washer is flashing an F30 and making a terrible noise in the origin of the soap dispenser area and appears unalble to pump water into the machine for the cycle to begin

The F30 code refers to a failure of the dispenser motor. The clicking you were hearing was probably the dispenser motor switch going on and off trying to activate the dispenser motor.

this is an easy and relatively inexpensive repair that you can do yourself.

F30 code? Makes a weird noise and drains the soap from dispenser but no water is added and won't spin.

The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.

* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor

My Whirlpool washer flashed F30. Not filling up with water.

Hi,
"F30" indicates "DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR" When the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position this error appears in your washer. To fix this problem follow these procedures.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. 3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations.

Thank you !!
