Question about Pioneer DV410V DVD Player

1 Answer

Gmail.comHi, I have a Pioneer DV-410V DVD Player, a Pioneer VSX-918V Receiver and a Sharp Aquos LED TV. I have issues with HDMI. If I connect the DVD Player to the Receiver and then to the TV the HDMI indicator on the DVD Player blinks and there is no image. If I connect the DVD Player directly into the TV I get either audio drops through the HDMI or the audio is not in sync with the video if I route the audio through a SPDIF and the video through HDMI. How can I solve this? Is this some sort of HDCP problem, or what?

How do I hook up a Pioneer VSX-918V receiver to Sat.Dish box?

For the audio portion, you must have either a digital coax, optical connection or analog L/R composite RCA jacks plugged into the "Sat.audio in" on the rear panel of the chassis. The other end of THAT connection must come from the "audio out/ variable out" from the T.V. or from the Sat.Dish box.

Pioneer VSX 818V No Sound

First thing to check is the Speaker Select Switch. It will say, "A" "AB" or "Both" it will be displayed on the LCD screen as well. Second if that's ok, Check the "Direct" switch. If it's on, turn it off. Generally if it's on, you will see a blue light if it's on (most receiver's)

If you still have No audio, hook up your DVD to the "Direct" input and turn "Direct" on. If you have audio then. The DSP chip is probably bad and you should take it to a shop and have them bench it first to confirm. Hope this helps

Problems with Sharp Blu Ray Player "copy protected signal"

Possible solution: You set up your remote to run your amp from the TV control, using the AQUOS Link. Even though your amp is out of the loop, it's still recognized by the TV. You might have to reset the TV back to default and run the AQUOS Link again.

How to use the usb port on Pioneer DV-410V DVD Player

Dear friends in problem solving.
My husband actually solved this problem by writing in the browser: Manual for Pioneer DV-410V DVD player.
That was available online and there it said that not all formats was supported by the USB port, so we tried to load a movie on a pen drive, insert it in the player and it opened and we just clicked play, so it was actually an issue of having an incompatible video file on the pen drive that made it not open in the first place.

HDMI Compatibility

It sounds to me like you have a HDMI Control issue. It sounds like the DVD player wants to control the receiver. Try turning off hdmi control on the TV, reciever, and the dvd player in their setup menus.

Let me know if this helped,
