Re boot it and it should be fine, if not run a registry cleaning programme to clear errors.

The last line of your error message contains the solution:

"You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disk or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer."

Translation: Start up from the disk that came with your laptop and follow repair tool instructions (or contact the manufacturer to obtain a copy - which you may possibly need to purchase. If you are not under warranty this will possibly be at a reduced cost.) Look for a label on the bottom of your pc for a phone number for service if your equipment is not useable. Good luck!

On a Microsoft operating system, press PRTSC (Print Screen).
Then go to Wordpad and pick "Edit" menu and Paste the image into the current document. You can then save the document.

If you want this is in a format for Photo Gallery, use Paint, under Accessories to paste the image into and you can then save it in an image format that will be recognised by photo gallery.

Hi,

According to Intel, your GPU does not support an independent display configuration without an ADD2 card. See here: http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gma900/
As far as I have noted, your motherboard unfortunately does not have that particular slot.

There is another option. You can always try a USB display adapter. The performance isn't wonderful, but depending on what you need it for, it may do the trick.

Hope this helps.

If your @ sign is not working it is probably a regional setting in your control panel. Your Keyboard is probably set to the the wrong layout
This will be slightly different for Windows 7 vs Windows 8 so check the control panel for Regional settings, input, keyboard settings. you will need to change your keyboard layout. If the @ sign is ontop of the number "2" then select US otherwise select UK. That should help.

I would try the Factory Restore again. See this... If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the device. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

From withing the OS (windows) see how it reports about the battery.
Assuming the battery is good windows will give you a percentage about the battery or it will report that the battery needs chaning or sees no battery. If the last is the case perhaps the sensor in the pc is bad.
have you used your pc on a sofa, bed etc the heat that is trapped inside the pc damages the sensor.

Go to geteasypeasy.com. Download it install it and then in options remove Ubuntu.
Easypeasy is actually Ubuntu so I doubt you will notice more than a few things won't work anymore.
