Some have a knob on top to allow you to turn and steer the blade. It can also be locked straight.
Try with a new, good quality blade.
Check for side play in the drive.

Unless the motor was replaced it should not require reversal.

To reverse the motor you need to swap either the start windings or run windings. See motor name plate.

First try Lowe's, the only Kobalt tool retailer. If they can't help you, the Kobalt customer service number is (888) 356-2258. I looked for Kobalt power tool parts onlline without success. That may suggest that their one-and-only retailer is the only source, or it may mean you should look for a replacement saw, basing your choice on likely future parts availability.
