It is part number HR1017, but it is no longer available at any parts house I could find. You should ask DeLonghi directly. There may be a foot from a newer model that fits.

Theres a little floatation type device in the removable tank that triggers a switch just above the tank on the unit itself. Just check that that isn't stuck in the "Full Tank" position. I had the same problem and jiggled the switch to make sure it could move and my A/C was back. Hallelujah!!! Hope it works for you...

This unit has a safety device for overheating according to the manual... but no tip over shutoff is mentioned:
"SAFETY DEVICE A safety device switches the heater off in the event of everheating. To restart the heater, call the nearest service center. Note: when the safety device intervenes, the heater doesn't heat but the display works."
The manual also states that if it is unplugged ... all programming is erased.
So the heating element may have broken as compared to a safety shutoff turning it off...

Check the thermal fuse of your heater and the thermo disc, if one of them is not working replace the defective part. You can test them by using a multi-tester for continuity with the main power of the unit switched off.

because that is far too low for comfort and cost savings
the human body rests best at 77 F and that is the most cost effective level for the ac unit
close doors and windows and use heavy drapes to prevent temp loss and stop using blankets to keep warm with the ac running
if you want colder go sit in a freezer because at 65 you are at fridge operating temp

Very likely the outside (condenser) coil is coated over with lint or leaves from the air flow of the fan blade. Generally, the obstruction cannot be seen, because it is inside the cabinet. Try this to clear the air blockage: Go inside the house and unplug the unit. Go outside and use a garden hose, with the nozzle set to a hard stream and the water supply on full.
With the nozzle held against the coil, direct the water stream straight through. Move the nozzle slowly across the entire surface of the coil several times to blow the trash off the coil to the inside of the cabinet. The unit should then continue to cool as designed.

take the case off and see what is causing it. Normally the fan has moved or the tar paper board around it.
