You need to FINALISE the recorded disc for compatible playback in any DVD player or PC. This should be a menu option on your DVD recorder. (similar to DVD management on Panasonic recorders).

It always helps to do a test recording on some discs first, then finalise them to see how they play elsewhere before going ahead and doing serious recording in this unit.

You likely have two video input options, s-video and composite (also known as RCA or A/V). All you need to do is change which connector your using in the settings. Look for a button on your remote that says SETUP or OPTIONS. Once you push it, you should get a settings menu. Look for something like REQUIRED SETTINGS or SYSTEM SETTINGS. Play around with it, and you will find the option to select between the connectors.

I hope this helps! :-)

Simple. Connect the composite output from the VCR to the composite input on the back of the Presidian. Then connect the coaxial output from the back of the DVR to the coaxial input on the back of the Presidian. Then connect the coaxial output from Presidian to the coaxial input on the back of the TV. Turn everything on and enjoy! :-)

Protected content = the movie/dvd you are trying to record/copy is protected against that by DRM. You can't circumvent that in your unit.
If you still want to copy it you will have to rip it first to a pc and remove the protection using an practically illegal software. If you still wanna do it here's a tutorial - use it at your own risk

I know it always sounds insulting when someone asks, but are you sure that you're feeding the AV out of the VCR to the AV in of the DVD player?
Many many people get the in and out jacks confused, especially since some of them can be quite awkward to negotiate or are poorly labeled.
I found that, in electronics, most of my problems were solved when I disconnected everything and started over very carefully.

so you need a digital\ analog converter , normaly is another SCART connector labed AUX\VCR on receiver box , is analog output. take particular attention on scart cable config. some cables has data transfer pins, and give some strange situations on receivers.

this is the way a cordless phone acts when the base station has failed, there is no signal and the handset will say searching, cordless phones are not repaired except under warranty, it is not cost effective, parts are not supplied after warranty, the most cost effective thing to do is just replace the phone.

It may be dust in the connectors. If you remove the cover and use a can of dust remover to blow out any dust, also, blow out the connector holes. I fixed to VCR's like this. Good Luck.
